Filipa Landeiro is a Research Fellow at the Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford, affiliated with the Oxford School of Public Health and Oriel College. She holds a DPhil in Public Health from Oxford, alongside advanced degrees in Social Gerontology, Economic Development, and Economics.

Her research focuses on the health economics of old age, with emphasis on dementia care, social isolation in elderly populations, and cost analysis of healthcare interventions. She leads systematic reviews for the ROADMAP project on economic models and quality-of-life metrics for Alzheimer’s disease and contributes to the Fracture Free initiative on hip fracture costs.
Recent publications span topics including economic modeling for dementia, maternity care innovation, and prostate cancer diagnostics. She also coordinates public health training programs and implements peer support networks for graduate students.
