Fikri Pitsuwan lectures in Economics and Public Policy at Cornell's Brooks School, teaching game theory and market design. His research applies microeconomic theory to innovation policy, cybersecurity, and collective action problems.
Publications include analyses of profit-cap regulations for tech/pharma industries and incentive structures in bug bounty programs. As Global Priorities Fellow (2021), he investigated catastrophic risk governance across generations.
Current projects examine blockchain-based decision systems and discriminatory subsidy impacts. He holds a PhD in Economics from Cornell (2021) and has taught at ETH Zürich and Thammasat University.
