Fernando Nieto Fernandez is a Professor of Architectural Design at the Tampere School of Architecture, part of the Faculty of Built Environment at Tampere University (Finland). He leads the SPREAD research group and oversees Public Building Design education at the Master’s level. Previously, he held postdoctoral roles at Aalto University’s Department of Architecture (2014–2018), contributing to EU-funded projects like ‘Human Cities’ and ‘School as a Service’. He earned a PhD from the Technical University of Madrid (2014) with international honors and holds advanced degrees in Architecture and Collective Housing.
