Fernanda Viegas is a Gordon McKay Professor of Computer Science at Harvard University's John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), a Sally Starling Seaver Professor at the Harvard Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, and an affiliate at Harvard Business School. She holds a PhD in Media Arts and Sciences from the MIT Media Lab. Her work focuses on data visualization, machine learning, and human-centered AI systems. She co-leads Google's PAIR initiative and the Big Picture team, developing tools like TensorFlow.js, the What-If Tool, and Embedding Projector to democratize AI technology.
