Felicitas Högger Niedermann

Felicitas Högger Niedermann is a Lecturer at the Chair for Media Linguistics and Manager of the MediaLab IAM at the Institute of Applied Media Studies (ZHAW School of Applied Linguistics). Her work bridges media design, innovation frameworks, and public engagement with science.

• Education: Master in Corporate Innovation Management (Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, 2018-2020), Bachelor in Visual Communication (University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland, 1999-2002), and specialized certifications in design thinking, LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, and online scribing.

Her research focuses on human-centered design methods, design thinking, and visual collaboration, with a recent systemic design framework addressing pandemic preparedness and health communication. She co-authored peer-reviewed work on applying design principles to future health crises.

• Scientific Awards: Red Dot Design Award (2005).

She serves as a coach in communication and media studies, manages the BA ProjectPlus module, and contributes to cultural change initiatives through facilitation certifications.
