Fatima Ghaouch is a Lecturer in Midwifery at the University of Northampton, joining in September 2023. She also served as a Visiting Lecturer in Midwifery and Public Health at Bern University of Applied Sciences (Switzerland) in 2024. With over a decade of clinical experience, she transitioned from a permanent NHS role in the UK to international midwifery education, including work in India (2022) and volunteer contributions with the Mpilo Life Project in Zimbabwe (2018). Her leadership in the Royal College of Midwives Award-winning initiative 'RACE MATTER' (2021) highlights her expertise in addressing diversity and health inequalities in maternity care.

Fatima's research focuses on improving maternity outcomes through culturally responsive care, continuity of carer models, and systemic equity interventions. Her publications span maternal care innovations and interdisciplinary environmental studies, reflecting her broad academic engagement. She actively contributes to midwifery education and policy through leadership roles and international collaborations.
