Farrah Holmes

Farrah Holmes is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. A licensed and certified Doctorate-level Physician Assistant, she brings over 20 years of clinical experience in Primary Care Medicine across Pittsburgh and a strong commitment to education and mentorship.

Her research and professional interests center on physician assistant education, clinical mentorship, interprofessional collaboration, and advancing diversity and inclusion in healthcare. With a career deeply rooted in training future healthcare providers, she has precepted an average of five PA students annually since 2005, primarily from the University of Pittsburgh.
