FATOŞ EROZAN

Asst. Prof. Dr. FATOŞ EROZAN is an academic at the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), serving as Vice Dean and Chair of the Foreign Language Education Department within the Faculty of Education. She holds a PhD in English Language Education from Middle East Technical University, an MA from Eastern Mediterranean University, and a BA from Boğaziçi University.

Her research interests focus on English Language Teaching (ELT), educational technology, teacher education, learner autonomy, and the integration of AI in language learning. She has extensively supervised numerous PhD and Master’s theses, addressing topics such as teacher well-being, technology in ELT, peer-teaching, and the use of AI tools like ChatGPT in writing instruction.

Prof. Erozan’s advisory work includes studies on effective English language teacher characteristics, intercultural communicative competence, and evaluations of ELT programs. She actively engages in curriculum development and institutional accreditation processes within EMU’s Foreign Language Education Department.
