Ewan St. John Smith

Professor Ewan St. John Smith is a Professor of Nociception at the University of Cambridge with a joint appointment as Director of the Naked Mole-Rat Initiative. He received his undergraduate training in Pharmacology at the University of Bath (including industry experience at Novartis) and completed his PhD at Cambridge on acid sensing. His postdoctoral work included 6 years at the Max-Delbrück Centre in Berlin (supported by an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship) and a Max Kade Fellowship at NYU School of Medicine.
