Even Solbraa

Even Solbraa is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Energy and Process Engineering, NTNU, and a Senior Advisor at Equinor. His work focuses on gas technology, digitalization in process industries, CO2/H₂ solutions, and thermodynamic modeling. He teaches courses like Natural Gas Technology (TEP4185) and leads the NeqSim simulation software project.

Research interests include unmanned field operations, CO2 removal/storage, subsea processing, and flow assurance. He actively supervises student projects in these areas and collaborates with industry on thermodynamics and machine learning applications.

His publications emphasize experimental thermodynamics and phase behavior analysis of hydrocarbon systems. Current projects involve hydrogen/CO2 thermodynamics and digitalization of gas processing workflows.
