Dr. Eva Turk is a Senior Researcher at the Center for Digital Health and Social Innovation within the Institute of Health Sciences at the University of Applied Sciences (FHstp.ac.at). She holds an adjunct Associate Professor position at the University of South-Eastern Norway and teaches Public Health at the Medical Faculty of the University of Maribor. Her primary role involves leading research in Inclusive Digital Community Care, focusing on digital health solutions, patient-centered care, and health technology assessment.
Educated at the University of Oulu (PhD in Health Sciences) and WU Wien (MBA in Healthcare Management), her research spans health systems innovation, rare disease care, telemedicine, and ethical AI applications. She actively contributes to global health initiatives through roles in HTAi's Board of Directors, Women in Global Health Norway/Austria, and the Norwegian Red Cross Emergency Response Unit.
Her work emphasizes cross-border collaboration and digital health equity, with recent projects including the EU-funded ECHAlliance and contributions to the 1st European HTA Framework for Digital Health Technologies. She also advocates for gender equality in leadership through her presidency of the Professional Women's Network Norway.
