Eva Draborg

Eva Draborg is an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health at the University of Southern Denmark, and Head of Studies at DaCHE - Danish Centre for Health Economics. Her work bridges health economics, health technology assessment, and patient-centered health policy development.

Education:

Her research interests include the organization of health care systems, health technology assessment (HTA), outcome evaluation, and the integration of patient perspectives in health policy. She emphasizes evidence-based approaches, systematic reviews, and qualitative synthesis to inform decision-making in public health. Her work often explores interdisciplinary collaboration in clinical settings and evaluates rehabilitation financing and continuity of care.

The recent publications reflect a strong focus on synthesizing qualitative evidence, evaluating health technologies, and understanding health care personnel and patient perspectives. Themes include patient continuity, rehabilitation financing, and barriers to organ donation, all within the context of the Danish health care system.

Draborg has supervised multiple research projects, including PhD work on hip fracture care and ortho-geriatrics. She is affiliated with CAST - Center for Applied Health Services Research and Technology Assessment, and has led interdisciplinary units such as the Interprofessional Study Unit.
