Dr. Eva Schöck-Quinteros is a Lecturer in the Department of History at the University of Bremen, specializing in gender studies, migration history, and public engagement through theater. She holds a PhD in History from FU Berlin (1976) and has been affiliated with the University of Bremen since 1976, transitioning to a part-time lecturer role in 2011 after roles as a research assistant and librarian. Her innovative project Aus den Akten auf die Bühne (Staging Files) bridges archival research and performance.
Research Focus: Schöck-Quinteros investigates marginalized histories, including women's movements, migration policies in Weimar Germany, and Nazi-era persecution. Her work emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches, combining social history with public performance to engage broader audiences.
