Eva Ahmad is a researcher affiliated with the Faculty of Forestry at the University of Jambi (UNJA), Indonesia. She has been actively involved in the Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 990 project B05 since her doctoral studies, focusing on quantifying vegetation and land use patterns in Jambi Province. Her work bridges ecological and socioeconomic analyses within tropical forest management frameworks.
Research Interests: Eva’s research centers on remote sensing applications in forest ecosystems, biomass classification, and land use dynamics. Her dissertation, supervised by Prof. I Nengah Surati Jaya, Dr. M. Buce Saleh, and Dr. Budi Kuncahyo, utilized ALOS PALSAR satellite data to assess lowland forest transition ecosystems.
Publications: She has contributed to the Tropical Forest Management Journal (JMHT) with her 2013 article on biomass estimation techniques. This work reflects her expertise in integrating geospatial technologies with ecological monitoring.
