معرفی
Dr. Elisa Oberbeckmann is a Junior Professor at the Department of Molecular Biology, University Medical Center Göttingen, and research group leader at the Max-Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences. She completed her doctoral studies at Ludwig Maximilian University Munich (2020) and postdoctoral research at Max-Planck Institute (2020-2024). Her research examines chromatin dynamics and gene expression regulation.
Oberbeckmann's work focuses on nucleosome organization, chromatin remodeler functions, and their roles in genome architecture. She develops innovative in vitro reconstitution approaches to study genome-wide chromatin organization under controlled conditions. Her investigations reveal how nucleosome positioning influences 3D genome structure and epigenetic regulation.
Her publications demonstrate expertise in chromatin biochemistry, genome mapping techniques, and mechanistic studies of chromatin remodeling complexes. Recent work combines biochemical reconstitution with next-generation sequencing to analyze chromatin domain formation.
