Dr Euryn Roberts is a Lecturer in Medieval and Welsh History at the School of History, Law and Social Sciences, Bangor University. His academic journey includes a BA in Modern History from the University of Oxford, an MA in Welsh History from Bangor University, and a PhD from Bangor University supervised by Professor Huw Pryce.

His research focuses on how medieval narratives shape modern Welsh identity and the contested histories of Edwardian conquests. Recent publications analyze Welsh tourism challenges through historical disconnections and literary geography in medieval Welsh poetry.

He supervises postgraduate students in medieval British history and teaches modules like The Heroic Age, The Age of the Castle, and Native and Norman Wales. His outreach includes the 2025 Castles, Quarries, and Communities course examining contested local histories in North Wales.
