Dr. Bleddyn Huws is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Welsh & Celtic Studies at Aberystwyth University. He holds a BA and PhD from the University of Wales and a DLitt from Bangor University. He serves as joint editor of Dwned, a journal specializing in medieval Welsh literature and history, and was elected a Fellow of the Learned Society of Wales in 2018.

His research focuses on Welsh literary traditions across multiple eras, with emphasis on:
