Eun-Jung Kim is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Wayne State University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Specializing in legal and political philosophy, she focuses on theoretical and legal issues surrounding human rights, particularly examining the epistemic role of consensus and global enforcement mechanisms.

Her research critically analyzes religious liberty in liberal democracies, with notable publications critiquing France’s burka ban and U.S. Anti-Shari’a legislation. She actively explores intersections between Islamic law and Western legal systems.
