Estelle D'HALLUIN

Estelle D'HALLUIN is a Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Nantes, where she is affiliated with the Faculty of Sociology and the Nantes Center for Sociology (UMR_6025). She serves as Head of the 3rd year Bachelor's degree program and Head of the certification course 'Asylum seekers, refugees, migrants: what reception?'

Her research focuses on the sociology of immigration, political sociology of law, sociology of health, and sociology of mobilizations. D'HALLUIN specializes in examining refugee and asylum processes, particularly how vulnerable populations navigate complex bureaucratic systems and the role of medical evidence in asylum procedures. She investigates how associations and civil society organizations support migrants and refugees, especially in healthcare access and legal procedures.

D'HALLUIN's recent publications demonstrate a consistent focus on refugee experiences, asylum procedures, and migration policy.
