Erum N. Ilyas, MD, MBE, is an Associate Professor and Interim Academic Chair of the Department of Dermatology at Drexel University College of Medicine. She holds leadership roles as Dermatology Pathway Director and previously served as CEO of Montgomery Dermatology LLC and founder/CEO of sun protective clothing company AmberNoon. Her academic affiliations include Drexel University, MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine (PhD/MD), and the Perelman School of Medicine (MBE).
Dr. Ilyas' research focuses on photoprotection, pediatric dermatology, and skin health disparities. She has published extensively on sunscreen efficacy, UV-protective clothing, and skin care for diverse populations.
