Errol Osecki is an Assistant Professor at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa. Holding degrees in Fine Arts, English, Commerce, and a Ph.D. from Schulich (York University), he transitioned from a career in professional theater to public accounting, specializing in First Nations, non-profits, and small government clients, before entering academia. He teaches Accounting Theory, Financial Accounting, and Managerial Accounting at undergraduate and master’s levels. His research focuses on modern accounting phenomena, including technological impacts on auditing practices, tax compliance dynamics linked to political leadership, and emotional influences on financial decision-making.
