Erin McClure

Dr. Erin McClure is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She holds a B.S. in Psychology and Neuroscience from Allegheny College (2003) and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Florida (2009), followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her research focuses on smoking cessation strategies, relapse prevention, and the integration of mobile health technologies to improve treatment outcomes for tobacco and cannabis co-use. Dr. McClure leads NIH-funded studies examining remote monitoring technologies for adolescents and emerging adults, with a particular emphasis on understanding interactions between cannabis and nicotine use during cessation efforts.
