Erin Garcia is a Lecturer in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Auburn University's Samuel Ginn College of Engineering. She holds a Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on operations research applications in service industries and improving healthcare access for children with chronic conditions.
Notably, she received the Alumni Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Award in 2025. Her teaching excellence was highlighted at Auburn University’s 17th annual Faculty Awards ceremony. She has contributed to departmental initiatives such as the Maghsoodloo Assistantship program for doctoral students.
