Dr. Erika Kidd is Associate Professor and Director of the Graduate Program in Catholic Studies at the University of St. Thomas' College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from Villanova University and undergraduate degrees from Baylor University and Augustine College, specializing in Augustine, Wittgenstein, and ancient-medieval philosophy.
Her research examines Augustinian language philosophy, ethics of love/grief, and confessional writing. Recent publications explore Augustine's Confessions and pedagogical dialogues. Awards include the Patricia H. Imbesi Fellowship (2017) and curriculum development grants.
