Erika H. James is the Dean of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a position she assumed in July 2020. She holds the academic title of Reliance Professor of Management and Private Enterprise alongside her administrative role. Previously, she served as Dean of Emory University’s Goizueta Business School (2014–2020) and led executive education initiatives like the Women’s Leadership Program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School. Her expertise spans crisis leadership, workplace diversity, and management strategy, with media appearances on MSNBC, Bloomberg, and The Wall Street Journal.
