Mary C. Chinery is Dean of the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education and Professor of English at Georgian Court University (GCU). She holds a Ph.D. in English from Drew University (2003) and has served in academic leadership roles since 1989, including Department Chair, Associate Dean, and Assistant Provost. Her research focuses on 20th-century American literature, particularly Edith Wharton and Willa Cather, with expertise in drama, performance history, and women’s literature.
