Dr. Timothy Bintrim is Professor of English at Saint Francis University. He specializes in Willa Cather's Pittsburgh writings and American literature, with secondary interests in environmental literature and archival studies. He coordinates the Environmental Studies minor and oversees the campus greenhouse and therapeutic garden projects. His teaching includes courses on medicine in literature and the politics of food.

Research focuses on uncovering Pittsburgh connections in Cather's work through archival and field investigations.
