Erika Dyson is the Willard W. Keith Jr. Fellow in the Humanities and Associate Professor of Religious Studies at Harvey Mudd College, where she is a core faculty member in the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts (HSA). She teaches courses in religious studies with a focus on American religious culture, transnational movements, and the intersections of religion, science, and politics.
Her research and teaching interests span:

- Apocalypticism and Prophecy
- Religious Activism and Social Justice
Erika Dyson's academic work explores the role of religion in shaping cultural, political, and scientific discourses in contemporary and historical contexts. Her courses such as God, Darwin, Design in America and 2038: Prophecy, Apocalypse suggest a strong engagement with religion’s interaction with modernity, technology, and futurism.
She maintains regular office hours on Tuesdays from 1–3 p.m. by appointment and contributes to the broader HSA curriculum at Harvey Mudd College, supporting interdisciplinary education in the humanities and social sciences.
