Erica Mendritzki is an Assistant Professor of Fine Art at NSCAD University. Her practice spans painting, drawing, performance, sculpture, and writing, engaging art history through critical reinterpretation while addressing themes of improvisation, grief, and absurdity.
She collaborates with ecology, health, and sustainability researchers to develop vocabularies for processing climate grief. Her work has been exhibited internationally and supported by the Canada Council for the Arts, SSHRC, and Tri-Council funding.
