Erica Bruce

Erica Bruce is an Associate Professor of Environmental Science and Assistant Director of University Scholars at Baylor University. Her research explores the intersection of environmental contaminants, pharmaceuticals, and human health, focusing on hypoxia-induced conditions such as traumatic brain injury, burns, cancer, and chronic wound healing. She employs mechanistic toxicological approaches and nanomedicine interventions to address injury and healing processes at the cellular level.
