Eric Vanhaute

Eric Vanhaute is a Professor of Economic History and World History at Ghent University's History Department. He has held visiting roles at Harvard University, Humboldt University, Peking University, and the University of California Berkeley. His research focuses on rural history, global studies, world-systems analysis, labor markets, and historical statistics.
