Eric M. Schwartz is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. His research focuses on customer behavior prediction, marketing experiments, and data-driven decision-making. He applies machine learning, Bayesian statistics, and field experiments to areas like A/B testing, online advertising, and dynamic pricing. Notably, his work on Flint's lead pipe crisis combined data science with public health policy, using algorithms to optimize resource allocation. He co-founded BlueConduit, a social venture addressing lead pipe detection.
