Eric Rasmussen is a Foundation Professor and Chair of the Department of English at the University of Nevada, Reno. He is renowned as a leading scholar in Shakespeare studies, often dubbed 'the Robert Langdon of the Shakespearean world.' His work includes authenticating rare First Folios and co-editing major scholarly editions such as the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Complete Works of William Shakespeare.

He advises on global initiatives like the British Library’s 2016 World Shakespeare Exhibition.
