Eric J. Velazquez, MD, is the Robert W. Berliner Professor of Medicine and Section Chief of Cardiovascular Medicine at Yale School of Medicine. He also serves as Physician-in-Chief of the Heart and Vascular Center at Yale New Haven Health System and Deputy Director for Clinical Trials Innovation at the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation (YCCI). Leading over 150 specialists, he oversees a major cardiovascular enterprise with broad clinical, research, and educational impact.
