His research explores the interplay between literary form and cultural critique, particularly in North African spatial narratives, queer corporeal representation, and experimental life-writing. Recent publications analyze autopoetic structures in Inès Bouallou’s work, interstitial ethics in WWI-era facial prosthetics, and biopolitical manifestations in pandemic contexts.
Eric’s scholarly activities demonstrate sustained engagement with interdisciplinary methodologies spanning literary theory, film analysis, and postcolonial studies. He currently serves as a faculty advisor in English & Literary Studies and is on sabbatical for the 2025-2026 academic year.
