Epp Lankots is an architectural historian and the dean of the Faculty of Arts and Culture at the Estonian Academy of Arts. She holds a doctorate from the same institution (2014) and completed postgraduate studies at the University of London and Aalto University.
Research Interests: Her work focuses on architectural historiography, Soviet-era architecture, material culture, and urban planning. She explores themes such as social differentiation in Soviet housing, leisure spaces in socialist Estonia, and post-war urban modernization.
Notable Publications: Co-authored key works include The History of Estonian Urban Development 1918–2020 (2024) and Suvila. Recreation and Architecture in Estonia in the 20th Century (2020), the latter linked to an award-winning exhibition.
