Enrico Berti is a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Padua, specializing in the history of philosophy, metaphysics, and ancient and medieval thought. His work focuses on interpreting Aristotle's Metaphysics and exploring themes in classical metaphysics, including causality, being, and practical philosophy. He has contributed significantly to the analysis of Aristotelian concepts and their influence on later philosophical traditions.

As a co-director of the thesis Public and private in Aristotle's practical philosophy, Berti has mentored students in exploring ethical and political dimensions of ancient philosophy.
