Emmanuelle Williams, MD, MEd, is an Associate Dean for Student Affairs at the Penn State College of Medicine and a Professor in the Department of Medicine. She serves as Director of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases within the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Her academic roles include co-directing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) curriculum and advocating for medical student wellness. She established the Penn State Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center in 2013, now nationally recognized for clinical innovation and research. Her clinical focus is on IBD patient care, with research spanning IBD pathophysiology, pain management, and medical education.
