Emma Tuohy serves as Adjunct Professor and Director of the Federal Litigation and Appeals Clinic at Drexel University Kline School of Law while maintaining a full-time partnership at Landau, Hess, Simon, Choi & Doebley specializing in immigration law.
Her educational credentials include:
- J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law (2013)
- B.A. from the College of William and Mary
Professor Tuohy's expertise spans immigration law with emphasis on asylum defense, removal proceedings, and business immigration pathways including EB-1/EB-2 petitions, O-1 visas, and Conrad 30 physician waivers. She actively contributes to the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) as Philadelphia Chapter Executive Committee member and serves as Secretary for the Pennsylvania Immigration and Citizenship Coalition (PICC) Board.
Through the Federal Litigation and Appeals Clinic, she provides students with hands-on immigration litigation experience. Her professional engagements include national conference presentations and co-authorship of immigration law articles such as 'Foreign Worker-Related Issues to Spot Before Commencing a PERM Case'.
