Emma Gomis serves as a Lecturer in the Comparative Literature, English, and Creative Writing department at the American University of Paris, teaching Fiction Writing Workshops (CL3200/EN3200) and College Writing (EN1010D) courses.

Her academic achievements include the Anne Waldman Fellowship during her M.F.A. studies at Naropa's Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics.
Gomis holds a B.A. in Musicology and Hispanic Studies, an M.F.A. in Creative Writing & Poetics, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in criticism and culture at the University of Cambridge while maintaining her teaching position at AUP.
