Emma Foster is a Senior Research Fellow at the School of Translational Medicine, Monash University, and a Consultant Neurologist/Co-Head of the First Seizure Clinic at The Alfred Hospital. She holds a PhD (2021) focused on optimizing epilepsy management. Her research emphasizes epidemiology, public health, and outcomes research in epilepsy and headache disorders. She leads multicenter clinical trials and chairs committees for the Epilepsy Society of Australia and Australian and New Zealand Headache Society. In 2024, she supervised 5 PhD students and 1 Master’s student.
