Dr. Emma Brett is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience-Research at the University of Chicago. She directs the BREATHE Lab (Behavioral Research on Addictions, Tobacco, and Health Equity), established in 2024, focusing on reducing health inequities through substance use research and implementation science.

Key fields include public health, behavioral sciences, and substance-related disorders, with subfields like cue reactivity, health disparities, and cancer risk behaviors.
