Emma Bell is a Professor at the Department of Management and Organization, Stockholm School of Economics, holding the H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf’s Chaired Professor in Leadership. She also serves as a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Hanken School of Economics (Finland) and Honorary Professor at the University of St Andrews Business School (UK). Her research focuses on relational approaches to leadership and organization, integrating materiality, embodiment, meaning, and ethics.
- Research Interests: Craft organization, food production and consumption, feminist new materialisms, embodied performance of leadership, organizational theory, and business ethics.
- Publications: Authored three books (Business Research Methods, Reading Management and Organization in Film, A Very Short, Fairly Interesting and Reasonably Cheap Book about Management Research) and edited six scholarly collections.
- Editorial Roles: Former Editor of Management Learning and current Associate Editor for Organization Theory.
