Prof. Dr. Harriet Bulkeley is a Professor of Environmental Governance at Utrecht University’s Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development and holds a joint appointment at Durham University’s Department of Geography. Her research examines climate change politics, sustainable cities, and governance transitions, with a focus on urban innovation and socio-technical systems.
- Coordinated H2020 NATURVATION project (urban nature-based solutions)
- Co-investigator on H2020 REINVENT project (decarbonization challenges)
- Led the 'Transforming Infrastructures for Sustainable Cities' hub (2018–2021)
