Emily Williams is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of English at Belmont Abbey College. She graduated from Belmont Abbey College with a BA in English (2007) and holds an MA in Rhetoric and Composition from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her research focuses on Holocaust and postwar literature, British Restoration/ Romantic/ Victorian writers, and American 19th-century poetry, alongside interests in modernist poetry and technical writing. Williams is also the Interim Director of the Summer Bridge Program, an English and History tutor in the Academic Resource Center, and former editor of Crossroads Magazine (2012–2017). She emphasizes liberal arts education’s role in fostering academic rigor and spiritual growth, particularly within Belmont Abbey’s Catholic context.
