Emily Scribner is a Senior Lecturer at Clemson University within the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences. Her research spans mineralogy and geoscience education, focusing on rare-element pegmatites and validated educational assessments. She holds a Ph.D. in Geological Sciences from the University of British Columbia (2019) and an H.B.Sc. from Queen’s University (2014).

Research Interests: Dr. Scribner’s mineralogy research examines contamination effects in pegmatites and tourmaline supergroup species. She has contributed to over 10 peer-reviewed publications on mineral discovery and pedagogical innovations.
