Emily Rehm is a Professor at Southwestern Law School, where she joined in 2018. She serves as a law clerk for the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, and previously clerked for the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. Her academic background includes a B.A. in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management (summa cum laude) from Columbia College Chicago (2008) and a J.D. (summa cum laude) from Southwestern Law School (2017). Rehm’s research focuses on media and entertainment law, criminal law, and legal journalism. She has published in the Southwestern Law Review and actively contributes to the Journal of International Media & Entertainment Law.
Her career highlights include roles as a Biederman Scholar, Dean’s Fellow, and editor for law journals. She has also served as a research and teaching assistant to multiple professors and externed for notable judges and legal offices. Awards include Summa Cum Laude for her J.D. and recognition in Moot Court competitions.
