Jennifer Seigle is a Professor and residential faculty member at Mesa Community College. She holds a B.A. in Theatre from California State University, Northridge (2000), an M.F.A. in Dance from the University of Colorado, Boulder (2003), and a J.D. summa cum laude from Southwestern Law School (2012). Her legal career includes roles as an IP litigation associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, entertainment legal counsel at Mattel, Inc., and as an associate at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP, specializing in civil litigation, intellectual property, privacy, and white-collar defense. She is also a practicing choreographer.
Seigle’s professional engagements include serving as Vice-Chair of the Women Who Lead Advisory Board (Association of Media and Entertainment Counsel, 2020) and on the Law360 Entertainment and Media Law Editorial Advisory Board (2015–2016). She is a member of the California State Bar.
Her academic contributions include editorial leadership as Editor-in-Chief of the Southwestern Law Review and recognition through the Biederman Scholarship. Her teaching focuses on Copyright Law within the SCALE program.
