Dr. Emily Oxley is a Lecturer in Language and Literacy Education at the University of Glasgow's School of Social & Environmental Sustainability. She holds a PhD in Understanding and Enhancing Reading and Language Skills in EAL Children from the University of Leeds (White Rose DTC). Her research focuses on language acquisition, literacy development, special educational needs, and second language pedagogies. She has held post-doctoral roles at Leeds, Edinburgh, and Glasgow universities, and served as a Fellow in Evidence Synthesis at the National Institute of Teaching.
