Emily Labarbera-Twarog is an Associate Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, holding appointments in the School of Labor and Employment Relations, the Center for the Study of Global Gender Equity, and the European Union Center. Her work focuses on labor history, gender dynamics in the workplace, and public policy. She has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Frederick Burkhardt Residential Fellowship (2019) and the John T. Dunlop Scholar Award (2021).
